Megan Robinson

Chapter President

Megan is a sophomore Cell Biology and Genetics major and is interested in getting her masters in Genetic Counseling. Outside of AXID, Megan is a member of the Terrapin Leadership Institute and an active volunteer. She enjoys running, traveling, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and “Friends”. Her favorite part of AXID is its diverse group of women and the incredible support system they provide.

Tatiana Traore

Communications Vice President

Tatiana is a sophomore studying Finance & Marketing. Outside of our chapter, She is a fitness instructor and is a member of the Active Terp Outreach Team that inspires students to live a healthy lifestyle. She is also member of the Business, Society and Economy scholars program as well as the Multi-Ethnic Academic Excellence Society. She hopes to one day serve as an executive leader to a Fortune 500 company. In her free time, Tatiana enjoys dancing, watching TV, running, and ice cream. Her favorite thing about AXiD is being able to constantly form new relationships and spend time with an amazing, intelligent and supportive group of girls.

Kristyn Batta

Member Development Vice President

Kristyn is a junior kinesiology major looking to become a physical therapist when she graduates. Besides being in Alpha Xi, Kristyn is also involved in TerpThon and intramural sports. In her free time, she likes to run, sing, play sports and travel. Her favorite thing about Alpha Xi is laughing and having a good time with all her sisters, knowing the friendships she has made will last a lifetime.

Danielle Panambo

Membership Vice President

Dani is a junior. She is a Kinesiology major pursuing the pre-physical therapy track. Apart from her studies, she likes photography and graphic design. Her interests include going to museums, concerts, the beach and hiking. What she loves most about Alpha Xi Delta is how well-rounded everyone is while sharing the same interests as her.

Emma Callamaro

Philanthropy Vice President

Emma is a Sophomore Public Health Science major with a minor in Spanish language, culture and professional contexts. She hopes to one day work in the healthcare field. Through her participation in multiple medical service trips to the Dominican Republic she has grown an interest in medicine as well as philanthropic/community service work. Emma is from Boston, Massachusetts and in her free time she loves to travel, ski, read and play soccer. The thing she loves most about Alpha Xi is how unique each and every girl is. Our sisterhood is special because it unites the chapter by celebrating each girl’s differences and encouraging them to be their best self!

Vanessa Barnes

Chapter Life Vice President

Vanessa is a sophomore studying Public Health Science, on the pre-medicine track. Outside of AXiD, she is a member of Global Public Health scholars, where she learns about health disparities and how to combat them. She wants to take the skills that she learns from school and her passion for helping people to one day treat people and participate in health interventions to improve disadvantaged communities. Her favorite thing about AXiD is how genuine, kind, and hard-working her sisters are. The love we have for one another is so authentic and strong.

Carly Lyon

Panhellenic Delegate

Carly Lyon is a junior mechanical engineering student. This is her second term on the executive board and she is very excited to be serving the chapter once more! Outside of Alpha Xi Delta, Carly is in many honor societies such as the society of women mechanical engineers. Next semester, Carly hopes to join the club climbing team as she recently got into climbing. Carly loves to be outside hiking, swimming, and biking. She also absolutely loves pugs and enjoys going on lake runs with her sisters.

Siena Acierno

Finance and Operations Vice President

Siena is a sophomore studying finance and operations management & data analytics. She is also a member of the global public health scholars program and looks forward to combining heath and business in her future career path. She recently started an internship at the export-import bank of the US in DC at UMD. She is the fundraising chair for the womens club soccer team, and a member of the membership comittee for the women in business association. Siena loves playing soccer, running, snowboarding and traveling. Her favorite part about AXiD is that everyone cares about each other so much that we’ve become a family
